When using a Pressure
Relief Valve, you must first pay attention to its selection. Improper selection may cause water blockage and air leakage. When selecting a Pressure Relief Valve, the drainage volume of the Pressure Relief Valve must be selected based on the hourly steam consumption of the equipment multiplied by 2-3 times the selection factor, which is the maximum condensate volume.
Only in this way can we ensure that the Pressure Relief Valve can discharge condensation water as soon as possible when driving and quickly increase the temperature of the heating equipment. If the Pressure Relief Valve discharges insufficient energy, the condensate cannot be discharged in time, reducing the thermal efficiency of the heating equipment.
When selecting a Pressure Relief Valve, you cannot select a Pressure Relief Valve based on the nominal pressure, because the nominal pressure can only indicate the pressure level of the Pressure Relief Valve body shell, and the nominal pressure of the Pressure Relief Valve is very different from the working pressure. Therefore, the drainage volume of the Pressure Relief Valve should be selected based on the working pressure difference.
The working pressure difference refers to the difference between the working pressure in front of the Pressure Relief Valve and the back pressure at the outlet of the Pressure Relief Valve. The selection of a Pressure Relief Valve requires accurate steam blocking and drainage, high sensitivity, the ability to improve steam utilization, no steam leakage, reliable working performance, high back pressure rate, long service life, and easy maintenance are the preferred conditions.
